Roskilde Airshow has as its purpose to promote the interest of flying for a wide spectra of people. The Airshow appeals to audience at all ages and gives them a thrilling experience with air show and exhibitions related to both civil and military flying now and in the past. The Air show addresses itself to the whole family.

The Air show committee try to present as many different airplanes as possible both for the ground and the air show. Military planes and helicopters from the Navy, the Army and the Air force will participate. Also participation of civil passengers planes, business aircraft and helicopters. Military war birds from second world war, acrobatic flights, a great number of experimental airplanes (homebuilt) and veteran airplanes including the Danish KZ airplanes. The planes will come - apart from Denmark - from Sweden, Norway, Germany and England. Further, gliders, ultra lights, model plane and parachute jumping will participate.

All aircraft participating in the air show can be inspected on ground. A travelling fun fair will be in the area for the kids. Food and beverages can be bought as well.
