Maritimt Forsøgs Center arranges sailing trips in Viking ships, available to everybody as our guests are always accompanied by our sailing instructors. You have to play an active part in sailing. There is a short introduction and instruction before setting out, and whilst sailing the instructors will tell the story of the ships and the fjord.
The trips may go to the protected peninsula of Bognæs, or along the coast and we may go ashore. You will be able to row at oars or set sail. We may drop the anchor to take a dip in the fjord. We sail in a Viking ship or small ships, dinghies, built according to the traditions of the old Nordic boat builders.
